Paul was warning Christians that they should not allow a little compromise with the world (apparently including arguments of friends/acquaintances) should affect them. Paul and the early Christians kept Passover and the Days of Unleavened Bread. They did not keep Easter.


Many professing Christians believe God's laws and Holy Days are no longer in effect even though all the ten commandments are specifically enjoined in the New Testament and all the biblical Holy Days are mentioned after the crucifixion of Jesus (unleavened bread is also mentioned before Mount Sinai in Genesis 19:3).

Although most who profess Christianity now celebrate it, Easter-Sunday was not observed by the second century Christians in Asia Minor. They observed Passover.

Although the Bible does mention that Jesus was resurrected, it never once suggests that it be observed as some type of holiday. Jesus specifically mentioned that Christians were to observe the Passover as He did (Luke 22:14-20). Since few who profess Christianity observe the Passover, what happened?

Greco-Roman Changes

Beginning with possibly Telesphorus or possibly Hyginus or maybe Sixtus (there are no contemporaneous records, only an unclear report 5-6 decades later written by Irenaeus), what is now called Easter began to be observed in Rome. First, it was apparently a change in date of Passover from the 14th of Nisan to a Sunday. This is believed to have happened because there was a rebellion by Jews and that any distancing between Jews and Christians seemed physically advantageous (at least to some in Rome and certain ones in Jerusalem). Swarm of 30 Million Locusts Hit Egypt

A plague of locusts descended Saturday March 2 2013 on agricultural farms in Giza and on Cairo. Egyptian Agricultural Minister Salah Abad Almoman said the swarm is comprised of an estimated 30 million insects and was causing great damage.

In Daniel Chapter 7, the prophet records a dream that he had in which he saw the rise and fall of four gentile world empires. Each was characterized as a beast coming from the sea of nations. So the beast from the sea is the political part of the Antichrist's system. Satan is a counterfeiter (I believe he will duplicate exactly what God did but for evil). So he has an "unholy trinity" that consists of himself (Satan), the Antichrist (the political, religious beast), and the false prophet, (the religious, political beast)

Satan...The great counterfeiter

Both Daniel and John also saw political systems and leaders that they described using the term "Beast". John sees this beast coming up "out of the sea." This beast is a gentile leader of a gentile system. John didn't call it a beast because it was a Gentile. He called it a beast because It comes up out of the sea of "nations".

Come Out Her My People

God Yahwah's warning is clear, He instructs us to "Come out of her, my people". This verse keeps resounding in my mind and heart. What exactly does it mean to come out of her? I believe it applies to all areas of our life. Are we worldly, are we in the world, at church, at work, in our relationships, what are we slaves to in our lives? What are our Gods in our life; money, work, video games, television, sports, alcohol, food, pornography? Are the current things that we are in standing in the way of our relationship with Yahwah through His son Yeshua or are we trying daily to change and come out of those things?  Are we growing in our relationship with God and our savior Jesus Yeshua daily or are we going through the motions and "playing church" once a week? If you haven't seen my previous blog post  regarding The Harbinger by Johnathan Khan, I would encourage you to take a look. I believe we have received a warning from God, the 911 call has been sent out, will we listen to God or continue with our normal day to day?

If we are instructed to come out of her where do we go? I would answer this question by saying that we need to go to our intercessor, our savior Yeshua. Yeshua is our safety, He is our protection. I feel that there is a interesting parallel found in scripture regarding Noah and Yeshua.

Genesis 7:1
The Lord then said to Noah, “Go into the ark, you and our whole family, because I have found you righteous in this generation.

God found Noah and his family righteous in that generation.  No one else around Noah and his family were found righteous. We must become righteous in this generation so when Yeshua returns we will be righteous in His eyes, so we will be saved. In the days of Noah only Noah and his family were found righteous the other people outside of the ark perished.  

Romans 6:13
Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness.

Not only is it important that we have a personal saving relationship with Yeshua, we must let Him work in and through our life and heart to transform us. We ultimately must be found in Him (we must be in the ark of Yeshua our savior), He is our protection in this generation. If we are in Him Yeshua and obey Him we too will be righteous when He returns for this generation. The 911 call is out, there is not much time left to enter the ark of His protection, pray to Yeshua today, ask Him into your heart and yield to Him in righteous obedience that He will work through you to change you and then go and be a light to others.

This blog marks the beginning of sharing my insights and relevant links on end of days prophecy and bible truth. I don't know about you but I find these verses unsettling.  Yeshua is telling us that us that on that day He will say to their faces, "I never knew you!" and similar to the days of Noah it will be also at the time of the Son of man (today), when Yeshua returns he will destroy all that do not know and obey Him. Our Father God Yeshua is telling us directly from the bible to not practice lawlessness, we must be workers of the the law.

Psalm 119:44
I will always obey your law, for ever and ever.

Romans 3:20
Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God’s sight by the works of the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin.

What is God's law? I believe that His law can be found in the Ten commandments, His biblical calendar, His feast days, His Torah (means teaching/instruction in Hebrew). The Torah is the first five books of the bible. When we know the Torah we know more about the chararacter God and we can apply the Torah to our life.

What does Yeshua mean when he says "My people, come out of her!"? We must come out, to be set apart, to know and obey Him God Yeshua, we must come out of our lawless ways at home, at work, at church, in our relationships, in our country. We must come out of her so that we do not share in her sins, so we are not infected by her plagues! Ultimately it is our savior Yeshua that provides the fullfillment of the law in us, when we fail He will intercede for us and save us as long as we have faith in Him and turn away from our lawless ways.

Galatians 3:13
Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.”

You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.
